HotChalk - Director of Strategic Partnerships, NYU Teacher Residency Featured
Position Summary: NYU’s Teacher Residency was created in 2016 by the faculty in NYU Steinhardt’s Department of Teaching & Learning. We currently partner with school districts and charter organizations in NY, CA, FL, and CT to prepare the next generation of teachers for our partnering communities through a one year teacher residency. Participants spend a year learning to teach embedded in a school while earning a Master of Arts in Teaching degree taught by Steinhardt faculty. Coursework is delivered online and aspiring teachers are supported through intensive coaching and mentoring by NYU Steinhardt faculty and experienced teachers in our partnering school communities. The goal of NYU’s Teacher Residency is to ensure graduates are ready to be effective teachers from Day 1 in the classroom. As the Director of Strategic Partnerships you will join a small and growing team responsible for driving the growth strategy for NYU’s Teacher Residency (NYU TR) .  The ideal candidate has knowledge of human capital needs in school districts or charter organizations, believes in the value of partnerships between higher education and school communities, and has experience working to support schools to find and prepare great teachers. This is a full time position that requires travel and reports to the Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships. This individual will work as a part of a newly created team to identify prospective district/charter partners, assess fit, and onboard partners into NYU TR’s partner network. Sr. Manager, Sales Training
Position Overview: The Neuronetics Sr. Manager of Sales Training provides training and leadership for a sales team selling an office-based, out-patient, treatment option to psychiatrists for the treatment of major depression, an enormous public health problem.Over 14 million adult Americans suffer from this disease annually and approximately 4 million of them do not fully benefit from their treatment and/or are intolerant to it.A tremendous unmet need exists.The Sr. Manager of Sales Training will be responsible for educating and coaching Neuronetics Business Development Managers on the compliant selling and marketing of this innovative technology helping change the current paradigm for the treatment of major depression. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: ·Lead training content design, development, and implementation for the Business Development Manager sales team. ·Partner with marketing teams and other internal/external partners to ensure training content is accurate and up to date for all training needs. Lead discussions with all key stakeholders in the Medical/Legal/Regulatory/Compliance process to ensure all relevant materials are approved. ·Develop, manage and implement effective training initiatives that stay within budget and drive sales results. ·Responsible for the leadership and facilitation of all corporately run training classes. Partner with the Director of Sales Training, other Sales& Clinical Training Managers and Field Sales Trainers to execute training classes. ·Effectively manages content and learning continuum within Neuronetics' Learning Management System. ·Must be a product knowledge, managed care and selling skills expert and continuously develop self in those areas. Strong clinical expertise in the treatment of depression and capital sales experience preferred. ·Facilitation, coaching, and influencing skills are critical role requires leadership within the class room, within cross functional teams and during field interactions. ·Partners with commercial coordinators/administrators to ensure programs are effectively planned and managed. ·Partners with marketing, sales leadership, medical/legal/regulatory/compliance, and other departments, as needed, to create and implement specific training material. ·Partners with Regional BDM leadership to support, develop and execute regional training programs. Facilitation of these programs may also be required. ·Continuously assesses the training and development needs of the salesforce and coordinates training resources to address these needs to ensure the long-term development of the US Neurostar Sales team. ·Works with Director of Sales Training to assess and measure the effectiveness of training programs and initiatives. ·Work with Sales Training Team and commercial/sales leadership to recommend, support and direct learning strategy and tactics. ·Develops and nourishes relationships with field sales to provide sales training and marketing leadership with a clear understanding of field needs to support product positioning, sales process, address competitive promotional efforts, and to assess the success of the various communication tools. ·Participates in brand team field input calls. ·Develop and conduct education programs and product training for other Neuronetics commercial personnel as needed. ·Achieves sales training operational objectives by contributing sales training information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing productivity, quality, and customer service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining sales training system improvements; implementing change. ·Other Duties as needed or required. Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities: ·Exceptional sales competency and analytical skills. ·Strong project management and process improvement skills. ·Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills. ·Excellent negotiation skills and ability to convince upper management, as well as line management and employees, of the importance of training programs, interventions and initiatives. ·Excellent presentation skills with a sales and finance aptitude. ·Prior experience leading teams and managing people. ·Unquestionably high ethical standards and track record of ethical behavior. ·Experience working in a highly regulated industry and complying with strict regulations, policies and procedures. Education and Experience: ·Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, marketing or related field (or equivalent). ·At least 3 years of experience selling in a medical technology setting, with preference toward individuals with capital sales background. ·At least 3 years of experience in sales training, or related function, in medical device, medical technology or pharmaceuticals. ·Relevant experience selling, training and/or managing sales in the capital equipment space preferred, but not required.
