Job Description

Overview of position:

The Executive Assistant will play an integral role in supporting C-Level Administration, Home Office team members, and the DSST Board of Directors. They will be a self-starter, highly organized, able to manage multiple projects in multiple departments at once, and possess exceptional communication skills.

  • Has advanced knowledge of technology to include computers and software programs such as MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint)
  • Able to operate various office equipment

Functions

  • Provides administrative and strategic support to the CEO and functions as the primary contact person for the Board of Directors
  • Works with limited supervision to provide support to C-level administration to include managing schedules and calendars, event planning, travel arrangements, and presentation development
  • Prepares written communication such as letters, memos, e-mails, etc. on behalf of senior leaders
  • Handles incoming calls, take messages and promote effective interoffice communication
  • Manages filing, photocopying, mail distribution, collation and assembly of relevant documents
  • Tracks budgets and maintain organization of financial documents

DSST Public Schools seeks candidates with strong character, passion for excellence and a relentless commitment to student achievement.   

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
  • At least 2+ years of experience in an administrative support role
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders and prioritize work effectively
